Board Meeting Agendas

Agenda packages for public board meetings are posted on the Monday before the meeting. Any items not available in time to be included in the agenda package will be distributed at the meeting.

Occasionally, items are added to the agenda after it has been posted. In such cases, the additional documents will be posted here.

The meetings start at 6:00 pm and are held in the District Education Office at 22225 Brown Avenue, Maple Ridge.

Members of the public can provide input on decision items on the agenda by emailing board@sd42.ca by no later than 5:30 pm on the day of the meeting. Members of the public can submit questions for the board by emailing them to board@sd42.ca by no later than 5:30 pm on the day of the meeting. The email subject line should read: QUESTION PERIOD. Expected Behavior of Audience and Presenters

In public Board of Education meetings, all attendees, including the audience and presenters, are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. Audience members should listen attentively, avoid disruptions, and show respect to everyone present. They should follow the established procedures for commenting or asking questions and refrain from personal attacks or derogatory language. Presenters should deliver clear and concise presentations, treat all participants with respect, and support their arguments with relevant information. Following these expectations will create a productive and respectful environment for meaningful discussions and decision-making.
