How do I print documents to a network shared printer?
You will need to be logged into a workstation to print a document. The closest printer to you should be set as your default printer as long as you are currently working at your school.
Is colour printing available?
Generally, no; most shared printers in school buildings are black and white laser printers.
Some school office’s do have shared colour laser printers, however access to these printers is restricted. Please contact your admin for further assistance.
Is double-sided printing available?
Yes. The school’s Ricoh multi-functional Copier/Scanner/Printer have this option by default, however the newer model of HP Hewlett-Packard and Lexmark are capable to print in duplex mode.
Is legal size printing available?
Yes. The school’s Ricoh multi-functional Copier/Scanner/Printer have this option and appropriate loaded legal-size paper tray by default.
Am I able to add a shared network printer on my personal laptop?
Yes. PC or Mac workstations can access/install shared printer queues using District/Student User ID credentials. A detailed step-by-step instruction document could be found here.
Am I able to print if I am connected to school district secured wireless networks?
Yes. Printing service is supported on wireless networks.
