Pacific Rim Hockey Academy has teamed up with Pitt Meadows Secondary and Samuel Robertson Technical to develop a specialized program and curriculum for students in grades 8 to 12 that allows them to balance their educational requirements while developing their hockey skills.
Hockey Academy students earn academic credits and receive both on and off ice instruction, including skill development (power skating, team tactical, game play, etc.), performance testing, and theory (progression, practice planning, proper nutritional strategies, etc.).
Personalized teaching plans are designed to meet each student’s individual needs.
The Hockey Academy is offered within the normal school timetable. Students can play minor hockey and school sports.
