At 7:34 a.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015, police received a report of a male asking a 13 year-old girl if she wanted a ride to school. The girl was waiting for the school bus on 272 St. and 104 Ave in Maple Ridge. A smaller black car stopped and the male driver began speaking with the girl. He did not make any attempt to touch or grab the girl, and drove off after the girl told him she didn’t want to get into his car.
