For students at Webster’s Corners elementary, October was the month to focus on gratitude.
Friday at lunch, a stone soup concluded the month as everyone pitched in and brought some ingredients. Carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, onion, potatoes, noodles and vegetable broth were all dumped into a big pot at the front of the school. Volunteer parents took turns supervising and stirring the pot and getting it ready for lunchtime in the gym.
