May 5: First annual MRSS Walk Her Walk event

Maple Ridge Secondary School Circle of Indigenous Youth and Allies are inviting the community to participate in their first annual Walk Her Walk event, intended to raise awareness about the number of Indigenous women who go missing, many along the Highway of Tears, every year. The Highway of Tears (Hwy 16) is a 725km secluded highway between Prince George and Prince Rupert.
