Several students in School District 42’s International Education program received some big scholarships this week.
Daisy Li, who is from China and currently attends Maple Ridge Secondary (MRSS), won $110,500 from the University of Toronto. She will use the money next year when she attends the school’s Communication, Culture, Information, and Technology program.
Two other international students, Marshal Guo and Jessica Yoon, both from China and currently attending MRSS, each received an $80,000 International Student Scholarship to University of British Columbia.
