Put on your dancing shoes and come out to Garibaldi Secondary’s annual dessert and dance event this weekend featuring live music from its junior and senior jazz bands.
Garibaldi Secondary will be performing with the Golden Ears Jazz Band, a community music ensemble, at Albion Community Centre (24165 104 Ave.) on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at 7 p.m.
Together, the jazz bands will perform live big band style swing and ballroom dance music, making it the perfect night out for Valentine’s Day.
The event features a photo booth, silent auction, desserts and a dance instructor will also be on hand offering lessons in swing dancing.
Tickets are available online for $22.63 or $25 at the door. All proceeds will go to Garibaldi Secondary’s music program.
