#FridayReads: Dive into the water but maybe Don’t Trust Fish

Laity View Elementary teacher-librarian Natalie Clark recommends Don’t Trust Fish or Méfiez-vous des poissons by Neil Sharpson.

I laughed out loud reading Don’t Trust Fish, illustrated by Dan Santat. It is one of those special books that makes kids of all ages giggle during story time. It is packed with funny facts and hilarious theories about what villainous things fish are really up to.

It’s a little bit science, a little bit weird, and delightfully ridiculous from start to finish. It receives bonus points for being equally funny in both English and French, so all our students and teachers can learn that fish are clearly up to something in two languages!

Don’t Trust Fish (Méfiez-vous des poissons) is available in SD42 libraries in English and French.
