Owen Swan is Westview’s top student-athlete.
Owen has been on the Principal’s List, for achieving straight A’s every year of his high school career. He has been named Westview’s Top Student in his grade level each year, including individual subject areas: French, Math, Science, Social Studies, PE and Microsoft.
Owen has had great success in the woodshop as well, representing Westview in the Skills Canada competition, and building a beautiful scorer’s table to leave behind in the gym. A leader on and off the floor in Westview’s emerging basketball program, Owen will be the first graduate of Westview’s Basketball Academy.
In the community, Owen coaches and referees youth basketball, and umpires minor baseball. Next year, Owen will study sciences at the University of the Fraser Valley, working toward his goal of working in the field of medicine.
