As you are aware, Yellowridge Construction began roadwork and utility installation around the Eric Langton Elementary site in June. Although this work was originally expected to conclude before the start of the new school year, we have been advised that it is now anticipated to continue through the end of September.
This means that parking and site access will be significantly limited in September, with increased congestion during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Families will need to allow extra time for travel in the month of September. We will provide an update closer to school start and will include additional instructions (if any) at that time. Flaggers will continue to be on-site during work hours to help direct traffic.
Thank you for your continued understanding and patience.
For more information about the impact of roadwork and utility installation on school site access, please see our June 10, 2025, update. A map outlining a temporary drop-off zone and limited parking spaces on site is available here.
