The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Pitt Meadows Secondary School to explore ideas for a replacement secondary school and neighbourhood learning centre (NLC) in Pitt Meadows.
The purpose of the consultation is to engage the community in helping define the vision for a replacement secondary school in Pitt Meadows housing a neighbourhood learning centre.

Background information:
In March 2023, the Ministry of Education and Child Care announced that the replacement of Pitt Meadows Secondary School has been identified as a supported project, allowing the district to move forward with the development of a business case. The school district has begun work on the revised business case with the hope that funding for a replacement secondary school is announced within the next 12 months.
