Students will soon have a new school now that funding is approved for Pitt Meadows Secondary.
Parent/guardian and student MyClass accounts will be disabled on July 31, 2024, to allow for system archiving and school scheduling. The system will not be accessible until accounts are reactivated. (more…)

On July 11, 2024, we shared with families that the school district would be changing the child care operator at six of its existing sites – Edith McDermott Elementary, Eric Langton Elementary, Glenwood Elementary, Maple Ridge Elementary, Fairview Elementary, and Maple Ridge Secondary.
Since then, we have heard from many families currently accessing these child care services.

As the 2023/24 school year ends for most of our schools, I am also concluding my first 100 days as the new Superintendent of Schools for the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District. The goal of my first 100 days was to prioritize learning the culture and context of this district. Following an extensive community consultation process, the Board of Education has approved its Preliminary Budget for the 2024/25 school year. The approved budget aims to deliver on key priorities in the challenging context of chronic underfunding of public education.
Registration for students eligible for school district transportation for the 2024/25 school year will be open from Monday, May 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm (noon) to June 28, 2024, at 4:00 pm. (more…)
