Treat your valentine to an evening of smooth jazz and sweet treats at Garibaldi Secondary’s annual Dessert and Dance event this weekend.
Garibaldi Secondary’s junior and senior jazz bands will be performing with the Golden Ears Jazz Band, a community music ensemble, at Albion Community Centre (24165 104 Ave.) on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at 7 p.m.
Together, the jazz bands will perform live big band style swing and ballroom dance music, making it the perfect night out for Valentine’s Day.
The event will feature a selfie photo booth, a silent auction, and plenty of desserts to choose from. A dance instructor will also be there offering free lessons in swing dancing.
Put on your dancing shoes, get your sweet tooth ready and come out for a classy, entertaining evening.
Tickets are available online for $25. Proceeds will go to Garibaldi Secondary’s music program.
