School District 42 students find unique ways to celebrate the holidays

Physical distancing has not stopped Maple Ridge — Pitt Meadows School District No. 42 students from finding unique and creative ways to celebrate the holiday season.

Teachers and students at Samuel Robertson Technical have been keeping the festivities going with a series of events and celebrations this month. Members of the school community donned their favourite team’s jerseys during Jersey Day, while staff member Steve Damos’ class wore red and green as part of December’s Spirit Day.

“Staff love to get involved at SRT and the kids like seeing teachers dressed up as much as their peers,” said SRT vice principal Michelle Allen.
