Dear families,
The Air Quality Advisory that was issued on September 10 for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley remains in effect today.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and are ready to take any necessary steps as needed to ensure we maintain healthy learning environments for students and staff. Depending on the quality health index measure, such steps may include:
- closing exterior doors and windows while utilizing filtered ventilation systems;
- postponing or reducing strenuous outdoor activities; and
- depending on conditions, allowing students who are sensitive to smoke to remain indoors during recess/lunch breaks or having all students remain indoors during break times.
