You are invited to attend the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District Trades Showcase event. This year will feature more industry representation, interactive displays, and additional breakout sessions where parents can speak directly with industry professionals and former students. More information about the new additions and representatives you can expect to see at the event will be shared soon. Last year’s event showcased more than 40 industries, post-secondary training institutions, employer organizations, tool suppliers, and union representatives. Ask questions, get answers!

Time: 6:00pm – 8:30pm. Doors open at 5:30pm.

Background information about the event
The purpose of this showcase event is not only to promote SD42 Trades Training programs, but also to highlight careers in the skilled trades. Parents/guardians and students will learn about employment opportunities and gain industry insights directly from industry personnel. The event is open to all who are interested in attending.
Note: Refreshments will be provided by our Vancouver Community College Professional Cook Level One students.
