Safe and supportive schools are a daily priority across the district. The Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows School District and the District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) invite parents and guardians to register for a virtual information session on school safety, hosted on Zoom at 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Facilitated by the district principal of safe and caring schools, the session will review the various measures in place across the district to help maintain secure and supportive learning environments. Families will come away with a clearer understanding of district safety practices, including the School Safety Notification System.
Space is limited so register today at https://bit.ly/4dnrXOb
You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to join the meeting once you have registered.
Registration for this session has a capacity of 300 participants. If registration is full, families can still join via livestream on the DPAC YouTube Channel. Both the Zoom and the YouTube chats will be monitored for questions during the session, and questions will be addressed as time allows. Please note that the session will not be available on YouTube afterward.
