Day of Mourning: SD42 honours those who have lost their lives due to work-related incidents

April 28, 2017 9:03 AM

In Canada, the national Day of Mourning is observed on April 28 each year to remember workers who have been killed, injured or suffered occupational disease on the job.

Last year in British Columbia 144 workers lost their lives to workplace injury or disease.

Please join us in paying tribute to fallen workers and raising awareness about creating healthy and safe workplaces.
