The SD42 dual credit programs are now accepting applications for the 2026/27 school year. Grade 11 students who are interested must submit their applications by Friday, April 24, 2026 (see link below).
Dual credit program options for the 2026/27 school year
- Nursing Prep Program – Kwantlen Polytechnic University
- Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) – Kwantlen Polytechnic University
- Emergency Medical Responder – Columbia Medical Training
- Medical Office Assistant – Western Community College

Dual credit programs make it possible for grade 11 and 12 students to take post-secondary courses, earning credits that count towards both their high school diploma and post-secondary studies. These tuition-free programs are supported by the Ministry of Education and Child Care, offering pathways into trades, technology or academic studies, while reducing post-secondary costs.
How to apply

- Fill out the form.
- Submit the completed package and your resume electronically to Penny Griffin, SD42 dual credit coordinator, at penny_griffin@sd42.ca.
- Drop off the application package and resume at your school’s career centre.
