Odyssey - Self-Directed Learning Community (K-7)

Odyssey is a School District No. 42 program in which educators, parents and mentors facilitate students as they follow individual paths of learning. Our collaborative environment fosters self-discovery, imagination, autonomy, passion, respect and responsibility. We promote ongoing personal, social and intellectual growth as the building blocks of a fulfilling future.

If you are considering schooling your child at home or you are considering home schooling as an option, School District No.42 has an excellent program for K to 7 called Odyssey to support you.

The program offers:

• flexible learning
• technological support (each student will receive an iPad to use for the program)
• more face-to-face teaching opportunities (math, art, science & other structured lessons scheduled)
