Employee Milestone Recognition Program

The Human Resources Department is pleased to introduce a new Employee Milestone Recognition Program. This Program is the result of employee feedback resulting from the “Have Your Say” employee survey process, focus groups held with employee representatives and recommendations made by a steering committee comprised of members from all employee groups.

The new recognition program aims to recognize employees year round for their dedication to School District No. 42,  from “Hire to Retire & Beyond”. Please download the attached flyer for more details about this program.

New recognition events began on April 29 with a special evening for employees who had reached the 20-year milestone.

This year the District recognized 17 employees who have given 35 years of service. This milestone was celebrated with a night out hosted by the Superintendent and the Chair of the Board
