2018 Leaders of Tomorrow: Kierstin Earle – Albion

Whether she is fundraising to provide clean water for Africa, or monitoring a primary class at recess and lunch, Kierstin cheerfully gives her time to making Albion Elementary a great place to be.

She has demonstrated leadership in and out of the classroom as a member of the Albion Leadership team, as an active participant in Student Voice, and she is also an excellent Big Buddy to primary students.

Academically, Kierstin is not satisfied with her work until she has gone the extra mile and done her best. She was chosen to represent Albion at the District Public Speaking forum. From the start of her Grade 7 year in 2017-18, Kierstin became an important part of the leadership team and she is seen by classmates and adults as someone they can depend on to get the job done.

Her thoughtful way of dealing with people, as well as her maturity, make her someone to look up to.

About Leaders of Tomorrow

The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District (SD42) has teamed up with the Maple Ridge News to celebrate local students who are making a difference at school and in the community. Elementary and secondary students featured as Leaders of Tomorrow were picked by their principals for making positive achievements in academics, sports, arts and community involvement.

The list is just a sample of outstanding students in the school district selected by their school during the 2017/18 school year – there are many others who were equally deserving of recognition for their exemplary achievements both inside and outside the classroom.

Every Tuesday throughout the school year, SD42 will profile a student selected as one of the 2018 Leaders of Tomorrow.
