2017 Leaders of Tomorrow: Beckham Bell – Maple Ridge Elementary

Beckham Bell is our Leader of Tomorrow at MRE during the 2016-17 school year because he is such a fantastic role model to all students in our school. He has many natural leadership qualities not the least of which are his humility and kindness.

Beckham goes out of his way to make sure his fellow students are safe and happy and often takes responsibility for making sure students feel included and valued. Beckham serves in both our school leadership group and on DSAC. Some of Beckham’s many positive qualities are his confidence and self-assured nature which he has managed to balance with many positive social connections.

He has also been able to manage having two little buddies in our French Immersion class when all others have one. Beckham has represented our school on both our volleyball and basketball teams. He is appreciated by his peers and the adults in our building alike.

About Leaders of Tomorrow

The Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows School District (SD42) has teamed up with the Maple Ridge News to celebrate local students who are making a difference at school and in the community. Elementary and secondary students featured as Leaders of Tomorrow were picked by their principals for making positive achievements in academics, sports, arts and community involvement.

The list is just a sample of outstanding students in the school district selected by their school during the 2016/17 school year – there are many others  who were equally deserving of recognition for their exemplary achievements both inside and outside the classroom.

Every Tuesday throughout the school year, SD42 will profile a student selected as one of the 2017 Leaders of Tomorrow.
