Parents, friends and family crowded the Thomas Haney Secondary School rotunda to celebrate the accomplishments of Aboriginal students on June 1, 2010. Awards were given for athletic ability, attendance, dedication to effort, business and trades, technology and applied skills, fine arts, leaderships, citizenship, and academic achievement. In addition, the following major awards were given: Logo winner, Five-Year Award of Excellence, Kwantlen Community Impact Award, Katzie Si:yam Leadership Award and the Spirit Eagle Award. 75 students were honoured for achieving graduation.
